The truth is, I never wanted to be famous.

I never wanted my life to become a performance. I started sharing because I loved living—and somewhere along the way, I lost some of that. I just want my life to feel like mine again.
The truth is, I never wanted to be famous.

I started sharing my life because I wanted to document my story, chase my dreams, and find like-minded people along the way. I’ve always thought life was interesting and beautiful, and I just wanted to share my experiences honestly.

But somehow, along the way, my life attracted the attention of millions of strangers.

People who don’t know me.

People who don’t know half of my story.

And yet, they can watch pieces of my life, comment on them, judge me, and decide for themselves who they think I am—all without ever really knowing me.

For a long time, I thought I could just ignore it. Keep living my life, keep sharing, and not care what people thought.

But the truth is, it has affected me.

It’s exhausting knowing that so many people are watching you, ready to have an opinion about whatever you do. It’s exhausting seeing strangers speak about you with complete certainty when they know so little about you.

After enough time, you start becoming aware of yourself in a way you never were before. You think about how something will look before you do it. You wonder how people will interpret what you say. Sometimes you feel like you have to explain yourself to people who were never part of your life in the first place.

And slowly, something that started as simply sharing my life began to feel like I was living my life in front of an audience.

That has been the hardest part for me.

Because I started sharing my life because I loved living it. I loved having experiences, going on adventures, meeting people, trying things, and documenting whatever I genuinely found interesting or beautiful.

I never wanted my life to become a performance.

I don’t want to experience something and immediately wonder how it will perform online. I don’t want an algorithm deciding what parts of my life are worth sharing. And I don’t want to shape myself around what millions of strangers might want to see.

I just want to be genuine.

I want to experience things because I want to experience them.

Pursue things because they matter to me.

And share things because I genuinely love them.

I’m tired of feeling like I’m living for an audience.

I want to live a quieter life.

I still want to dream big. I want to attempt things that seem impossible, take on challenges and adventures that push me to my limits, build things I believe in, and spend my life doing things that actually mean something to me.

I still want to document that life. Sharing my story is part of who I am.

I just don’t want to share my entire life with everyone anymore.

I want to be present in my own life again.

And when I choose to share something, I want it to feel like it did when I first started: something honest, because I genuinely wanted to share it.

That’s the life I’m choosing now.

A little quieter. A lot more personal.

But still full of dreams, adventures, and things worth remembering.

I just want my life to feel like mine again. 💛
